Thank you my friends. Soft Milk has been an adventure with the people I love most, both in the band and at shows even after moving over the big Atlantic ocean and finding a second family here. I'm going to attempt to give some specific shoutouts, don't feel forgotten if I forget you. It's very late in the night and I am eager before flying to Mexico tomorrow.

First I thank my family. Parents in particular for making me into someone who believes in myself and the things I can do. Also for giving me a safe place to play in the world and in my mind as a child. Those were incredible times and there are more to come.

Thanks Dylan Beckwith for making Soft Milk with me and being a super natural human being. I think our souls will spend eternity together, always having the best birthday parties. We don't really know which of us thought of the band name, but the fairest guess is that it was born of some freakish harmony we found together, rediscovering boyhood romance with cheap guitars and diner coffee. I look forward to making endless jokes on the cosmic stage with you.

Thanks Harison Zamperla for being such a beauty and teaching me the ways of satyr boy. Ever since I saw you play music I was immediately jealous of how it seemed like you were born to be making music, charming boys and girls at bonfires with your wizardry. I have definitely consciously tried to be more like you on more than a pair of occasions. WWHZD? Two of those occasions is how I think about poetry and melody, both when writing my music and living my life in pursuit of the mojo. Love you.

Anton, Caroline and Shane. The three of you were in such a big way the reason I embarked on this recording project at all. Yall's albums have all been my hits of 2017. It really inspired me to work hard on something and overcome some fear I had of devoted recording and music releases. And beyond inspiration you are all such encouraging friends, you make me believe in doing amazing magic. We are new in each others lives, but I am so exciting to know all three of you and get to spend some amazing times together around music, each other, and chatting about life and problems and all that good stuff.

Thomas Ghazi, I am so excited to have you back in Berlin. You're presence brings light into my life. And your keyboard playing puts the fire on every music it touches. I love hanging out with you, it gives me an infinite smile. You are always the relief I need from the uptight people running around in the streets. Feels like we can make out adventure out of anything just like in super hero comic.

Messy and Christoph. Miss you guys so much! You are both in other places in the world now than most of our friends back in Ypsi. And different places than me too unfortunately. I'd love so much to hang in person with both you guys. I think about you two a ton. Also! We never really got time the three of us to hang out. I hope someday that time comes and we can make a crazy tea party and talk about the impending doom that earth will see and how beautiful it is the way ants can taste when cooked in butter.

Thomas, Caroline, John, Corentin, Sam, Shane. Thanks everyone for being total rockers and playing music with me in the current Soft Milk format. It means so much to me that you all want to play songs I wrote. You all add something I could never imagine and never replace. It's been a long time since I played with a full band. It makes me feel like the coolest person alive to hear how we sound! So excited to play more with you all.

Elise, thanks so much for being so damn sweet. The last year with you has had so many beautiful moments. I hope we can find a way to always know each other, even if things change between us or get difficult at times. I love you and love hearing you sing my songs under your breath, even when sometimes you use the wrong words. It makes me feel like what I do it worth it.

Goldencat! Everyone who I ever lived with there and whoever lived there ever. This house was the most beautiful times of my life. It's where I became me in so many ways. With music, sex, art, tragedy, all that good stuff. It's a place with simply everything, Magic magic magic! But the magic is that it isn't the place at all, it's the people. Miss you Mark, Amber, Devin, Daniel, Shelley, Paige, Heidi, Messy and many more.

Leadpan. Malachi, Dave, and Dakota. Miss you dude so much. I love seeing what you are all up to these days. Can't wait to catch up again in person. Especially to meet the little one Malachi! Grats to you and Erica. Let's change rocknroll again later in life. Next time I'm in michigan I really want to dig out the old recordings and finish them once and for all! You all deserve to hear that album.

Friends from ypsi! Tony, Connor, Kyle, Bob, Lauren, Todd, Olivia, Joe, Alexis, Chewy, K-rae and so damn many other people I could never list you all unfortunately. I just want to say that you are all damn good poets and have made my life a better story and a smoother ride. Love you all!
